308win with IMR4320 and match bullets

I always liked VV-N140 and RL-15, but IMR-4320 works well enough.

My best load was 47 grains with the 150's, but be careful this load may be too hot in your rifle. Never tried it with the 168's.

Most .308s aren't particularly finicky with respect to powder type or charge, and normally I've found that almost any reasonable load shoots well. 4320 produces good velocity with 150/155s, but you my find that its a bit quick to produce the kind of velocity you expect from a 168.

Back a few years ago shooting hunter class benchrest, powder of choice for top shooters was H 4895, and Imr 4895, with 168gr sierra's the Hornadys should work well.
I know at Connaught fellows shooting TR in 308, use mostly Varget, RL 15 some also use VT540 or 550

I have found IMR4320 powder to be very temp sensitive. I used it for my .308 and for my 30.06. I switched to IMR 4350 it seems a lot more consistant.
Thats just my experience, some people will most likely say I'm off my rocker!
