.308win. with retumbo

Anyone tried this combo? I checked a couple of other sites and found people using it in .243win and .260rem but not the .308win

I'd wager Retumbo is a tad slow to be fully efficent in a 308Win.

Consult your data sources, and you'll see that anything 4350 or slower is very seldom used in the 308Win.

Retumbo is for large magnum cases with dis favorable expansion ratios (over bore) think 7mmRUM, and 257WTBY and the like.

I think Retumbo would be way too slow of a powder to give good results in a small case like a .308.

It will not work... that powder was made for magnums cartridges, Rums, SARUMs the 378 family and so on...

Heard it works good in 7mm mags as well.
