The more I read and hear about this bullet, the more excited I am to try it out.
At Berger they say it's the direct evolution of the 30cal 200.20x, and they are catered directly for Fclass.
They we're initially purchased for my long freebore chamber as the 200.20x would either have too little neck to bullet bearing surface, and the 208s corrected this with their shorter boat tail and longer base to ogive.
20 thou off hard jam, I’m 2/3rds+ into the neck in bullet bearing surface.
Just prepped a load dev, powder charge only started pushing my bullet back at 44.0gn of Varget.
Which I theoretically won’t reach as I expect either my velocities or pressure before that mark.
I was not into meplat trimming (yet), so having factory trimmed meplats is yet another advantage to me for these bullets.
Since they are getting scarce, I did ordered 1500 while I could to at least have a decent run with them if they work out good.
Anyone else made the jump for these Bergers?

Tomorrow I have an initial powder load test planned, from 42.0gn to 44.0gn of Varget, I'll monitor pressure and velocities along the way.
I am expecting a 2600fps load for a nice 1350fps+ velocity at 1000M.
