Ive been hearing a few good things about this new calibre, it may finaly be getting noticed its supposed to be a 30 cal short action with the full power of a 30-06 to shoot 180 gr bullets,im wondering if theres a gunnut out there that has one or if anyone knows about the balistics. cheers

Sounds like a .308 to me.

Haven't heard about this one or what it is designed for. The .308 is only equal to a 30-06 in standard commercial/military loadings. The extra powder capacity makes the 30-06 capable of superior ballistics. Not knocking the .308 which was designed to produce equal military performace with smaller cases so more ammo could be carried.
