If you like the rifle, I would personally suggest that you get it in 308win, as the 30TC may not be around for too long. If your not a handloader, this would likely be a very bad thing, as you may find youself with an orpan that you can't get cartridges for, which brings me to another point; you only have one load that will either work, or not work in your rifle. If you are a handloader, it woulden't be so bad , as you may be able to stock up a stash of cases for yourself, though you wouldn't be able to load to the velocities that hornady does. They are apparently using powders that are not currently available to the handloader. If you ever ran out of cases there may be an issue too, as I suspect that either internally, externally, or both, the cases are different from all the other cases that are out there.
