.310 bullet sources?

I’m looking for 310 bullets to make some plinking rounds for the SKS, something “cheap” like an fmj

Any sources? Most of the suppliers don’t seem to stock anything except for some soft points

With a few 180 grain .303 (.311) softpoints kicking around, and some x39 brass just staring at me, I'm thinking about working up a subsonic load.
300 BLK seems to be a pretty good inspiration for load ideas...

Casting is the best solution, gas checks making is the second best.

Even Norinco ammo is cheaper than reloading at 42c a bullet.

Budget shooter supply got in some bullets but I'm guessing they aren't as cheap as you are hoping for.

Casting is my go to but I've never done any for semi auto rifles either.

Cast them hard, make sure they fit the bore, use a gas check design, pace your rate of fire. Back in the day there used to be lots of articles kicking around about loading cast for military surplus semi autos and a few for full autos, so they will work but you need to watch the details. round nose or bore riding nose preferred over spire point shape.

Guess I’m looking into another “hobby” to “save money” if my wife asks
