32-20 New to me

No need to keep your load down in an 1892, they are a very strong action for that calibre. If you had an original 1873 then yes keep it mild. Check out the SAECO #322 and compare costs to the equivalent profile in the Accurate molds catalog for a standard bullet design. If you'd like some spicier varmint loads then a gas checked bullet design would be preferable like the Lyman 311316. Some people use that Lyman for all purposes and have good results shooting it without a check at lower velocities.

Rusty wood trading has some appropriate cast bullets and brass according to their website site. I’ve tried WIN231,H4198 and Accurate 5744. I had better luck with accuracy with H4198 and Accurate 5744. There is not a lot of data for those two powders. I did use small rifle primers as well. If you’re interested I can pm you with my notes.

My favorite 32-20 load is the 96 grain cast bullet with 7.6gr of Alliant 2400
Unfortunately finding the 2400 powder is an issue
Starline and Hornady make new brass
I shoot this out of an 1873 Uberti rifle and it’s deadly accurate

I haven't had a chance to do anything. Life's been getting in the way. (Life, not wife...hahah! Although,.....) I'm busy palaying with my new to me 12G and a couple of old 38-55's. Not enough hours in the day or days in the week. I'll hang on to this thread and let you know once I get that far. Thanks for the interest.
