I have a John Wayne commemorative editon 32-40 rifle, new unfired. I am looking for a box of the commemorative ammo for the rifle to display with it. Anyone know where I can find a box?
 
"...new unfired..." Still sealed in the box? Opening the box drops the value considerably. Unfired or not. Both the rifle and the ammo will have to be securely locked up too.
There are JW commemorative ammo boxes(in several calibres) on a bunch of the U.S. and Canadian auction sites. Your best bet would be to haunt the gun shows and hope you find one at a price you're willing to pay.
 
No, the box has been opened. It is a styrofoam box with a paper sleeve slid over it. It was given to me. All the factory literature with it as well.
 
"...was given to me..." Nothing wrong with that. It'd be dandy for CAS shooting. Hauntng gun shows is still your best bet for a box of JW ammo though.
 
I may be wrong but I don't believe the 32/40 is legal for cowboy action...how much will you offer for my box of John Wayne 32/40?
