Hi folks! Does anyone maintain or have a list of currently available .32 caliber restricted options? As you know, a limited number of .32 caliber pistols are considered Restricted and not Prohibited due to their use in competition. I was lucky to try one at the range once and loved it!

That is awesome, thank you! This could be a sticky?

There was a Pardini, (I think) list just a bit ago in the EE, sold fast I think, Trade Ex had / has a Manurhin 32 listed, Bring you wallet.
Last switzers auction had a GSP upper in 32, Sold cheap if you had a GSP 22, no mags though.

El wood eps has a Benelli 32 - I owned one. Hard on brass but a very nice pistol. What are you shooting for a 22LR. It may influence what 32 you should consider.

It’s a shame the list of exempted 32s hasnt been updated in 20 years. As a result the following are not available: Tesro TS32, Matchguns MG4, Pardini 32 ACP and Alfa proj 32.

I have the Walther GSP Expert .32 and .22 conversion kit. If you get into ISSF style shooting, you can shoot .22 and centrefire matches. Conversion kit makes it cost efficient to own/shoot both calibers.

Back when I purchased mine, I specifically purchased the .32 version as the complete gun and got the .22 as a conversion kit. Just to be on the safe side and be able to show the gun in .32 is registered as a restricted firearm. When the .22 conversion kit arrive, it also had to be registered. I understand they do not register them anymore but not 100% sure, haven't been shooting ISSF for some time...

Yes we could not agree more. It is likely that that we will not see this in our life time or unless the politics and the Canadian Firearms legislation goes though the major changes.
