.32 H&R Magnum

You're unlikely to find much .32 ammo other than .32 S&W anywhere in Canada as .32 calibre handguns that are not on the exempted list(high end target pistols) are prohibited.
The .32 S&W is used in high end target pistols. The H&R mag is not. Hence, any handgun chambered for it is prohibited. If you have one and don't have the 12(6) permit, you're in possession of an illegal handgun. You can't get a 12(6) permit either.

I have seen .32 ACP at Canadian tire, I could go get some right now and I have no 12(6). Why would H&R be impossible to find? I imagine it would be harder. Prohibited doesn't mean it can't be sold.

"...reloading is the only option..." You're unlikely to find brass either and you can't order it from the U.S.

Don't you need to add "without an export permit" to that statement? I bought 150 pieces of 38-40 from Track of the Wolf a week and a half ago - arrived without any problems. Declared properly and everything.

Any with Marlin making an 1894 in 32 H&R Mag now, I would think brass should be a little easier to find. I've been thinking of picking up one myself - a pound of powder should go quite far in a little case like that.

not sure where to find factory ammo in canada, but reloading components can be aquired.

finding ammo should be possible as marlin was making a selling rifles for this cartridge in canada.

myself i reload everything i shoot....

"...with no hassle..." It's supposedly on the U.S. restricted for export list. Ask Dillon a few weeks back about what reloading stuff could and could not be shipped without the export permit. They said dies and equipment was ok, but not brass or other components. I suspect there are a lot of U.S. retailers that don't care. They have your money. If it gets stopped by U.S. Customs, too bad for you.
