Hello All,

I was wnodering if anyone out there had any info on the 32 rimfire(Long)???

Specifically I am looking for dimension of the bullet and COAL once loaded and brass diameter/length, etc.... Also normal operating pressures???

Old cartridge and not overly popular now-a-days, so not a lot of info that I can find.

Any help would be great,

Matt

Thanks, that really helps alot....any idea of pressures, especially relative to a 22 short, long and/or long rifle.??

Since these are pretty well extinct now from market and current production and the little reloading kit costs $$$ and old stock from guys costs $$$, I'm being the chep guy I am an trying to figure a way to get this going myself. i just need the dimensions and proper pressures of the actual round to have as a basis. The Stevens I am using is in great shape, other than the metal which was painted black????!!!!?!?!?! Don't know why, but that will be part of my process here. Kind of a long term project I'm working at. Anyway, any help would be greatly appriciated, especially in the pressures dept, and relativity to the various 22 rimfires.

Thanks, Matt

I have no pressure or load data , but black powder is always loaded with no airspace in the cartridge. You could start with say 1/2 full ( or less) and top up with cornmeal , and ,if your gun is sound, it will be a safe start.

That would be my route and has worked in for me with my antique loads. My . 32 rim , I just fill the cartridge and use a round ball pressed in. Primer is . 22 blanks.

Hopefully someone else may jump in .Try going to the blackpowder section , lots of guys on there know their stuff.
