325gr FTX performance

I don't see how a bullet going through 2 feet of bones and losing the core at the end can possibly be seen as "failure" but you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

Well i had a bullet from a 7mm go through more than 2.5 feet of elk, through 2 ribs and the leg bone on a elk this year, bullet was a 150gr, bullet weight after was 143.7 grains.

If the bullet comes out in pieces i don't know if i would rely on it.

Yeah, sorry, the bullet 'technically' failed. There should not ever be a jacket/core separation, regardless of circumstances. Unofficially, your deer might as well have been hit by a loaded freight train. One of the best kills I had was when a bullet failed, truth be told, but if that could be counted on, manufacturers wouldn't be spending so much $$$ on bonding core and jacket together so effectively, or ditching the core altogether. That being said, I think this bullet deserves another chance for sure.

Deer pic's or this didn't happen.

Edit:. BTW, I totally agree that FTX kinda suck for cup / core separation, but you have filled a tag. It's all good.
