32acp in .380 mag?

can't see how it would- the 380 is a wider cartridge( 9mm vs 7.62 ) and the 32 acp is not a bottleneck , so there's nothing for the sides of the mag to hold on to- a 380 necked to 32acp would work-

I have two FN-Browning model 1922s. The magazines are both for 32 ACP/7.62 . One gun now has a 380 Auto barrel and uses the same magazine, slide, etc. and works well.

The 32 ACP is a semi rim cartridge. I believe the 380 ACP has the same size rim (or very close). Because of this the magazines are made (or almost) the same. The holes indicating the round count would be different though.

Do you think the same logic as shotgun tubular magazine capacity applies?

It's for a Beretta Model 90 I just bought. I can't get mags anywhere but there's a few .380 ones I can get my hands on.

You can build different magazine bodies out of light steel tubing. You can borrow the internal mag springs from other mag models, and make the follower to suit your needs.

Remember though, that different tube thicknesses will give different size variations in the end...so plan ahead for your final dimensions well in advance.

:D
