338 edge

Im looking at getting a 338 edge i am pretty new to relaoding and just wanted to ask how much harder is it to resize the 300rum cases to 338 edge then say just reloading a 300rum

It's no big deal. I use a little Imperial sizing die wax inside the necks, and if the odd case seems to be taking more pressure than the rest I'll stop, relube that neck and take another run at it. No use stressing the decapping rod any more than necessary.
