338 Fed

What are some of the loads you are using in this cartridge?
One other question.
I have a ton of once fire 308 cases.everything from Lapua to Fed to Hornady.
can I neck up the case load 338 bullet and then fire form?
I understand that the 338 has a longer neck so I'm asking if anyone else
is doing this with 308 cases.

.308 cases will work fine, lube them up and re-size...

Necking up or down works fine I have used 308 Norma for my338F,358W,260,7-08 & 243 & 308 DAN>>>

Easy to open up. But I do have .338 Federal brass as well. You can feel the difference when seating the bullets. Currently brass is $45.00 for 20, although it comes with free bullets, primers and powder.
Sako claimes to manufacture brass but where it is, don't know.

Federal is starting to supply .338FED brass to reloaders this year...
