338 federal brass

I've been looking at purchasing a 338 fed and it bugged me that I couldn't get proporly headstamped brass for this caliber so I e mailed federal and this is what I got back..

You can buy ammo but it is a little hard to come by. Most shops that I have ask for it in have no idea they hand me a box of Federal 338 win Mag ammo.

Hmmm, all my .338 Mag ammo is stamped "7mm Rem Mag" on the bottom ;-)

(Sorry about the smartass reply, you did say that you wanted it correctly stamped - don't know what to suggest...)

I just bought a couple boxes of Fusion ammo. It surprises me that Federal will be selling component brass........but I am happy if it is true
