What are the options a guy would have for a detachable mag system that will feed the .338 lapua AI with it's sharper shoulder. I understand that regular lapua mags because of the longer col and the shoulders. I was told that seekins mags wont work and that wyatt's might work and that really the only option is the old style hs precision. Are there any others?

Thanks for the look

Probably your best bet would be to ask Rick @ ATRS.
He built mine and it feeds incredibly smooth.
I looked on the magazine and bottom metal, couldn't find any marks or name.

If it came from Rick then I'm assuming it's the hs precision that what he has now, but I was also told from another source that seekins bottom metal will work and Rick said no because of the shoulder

Seekins have an internal lenght of 3.94" It is longer than the wyatts, You should ask the manufacturers if it will work. I don't undrstand why the shoulder would be an issue? I assume it's to do with feeding rounds??

They are the same price but I kind of like the looks and the positioning of the mag release on the seekins better then the hs and it's high mag capacity( not that I need it but it's nice) just need to know if there will be any feeding problemS

The shoulder is an issue in some mag systems, particularly the AI mags, because instead of a sloped shoulder and tapered case, it is apst straighteslled with a 40 degree shoulder. Some mags have this wonderful grove in the metal for structure or whatever and the metal of the mag jams against the "new" AI" style shoulder.
