338 Lapua brass help needed

Need some advice please.I recently bought some once fired 338 Lapua Brass for a buddy.he tried to resize it with the shell holder he has always used(#37)
I think, and the brass will not fit into the shell holder.When held side by side ,there is a very noticable difference in the rim area, and when looking at the headstamped area the letters A AND U are different from his old brass, just wondering if anybody else has experienced this.It had the Lapua trademark, as well as the anealing shodows but do not fit this shellholder.Any help would be apreciated. thanx spurly
 
The most common 338 Lapua brass is Norma and Lapua. Oddly enough the are not both identical in size

Can't remember which is which but I use both brands of 338Lapua brass and use a #37 and #14 . If you actually look at a RCBS shellholder chart it also shows these TWO shellholders

Try a #14 holder. I will check which goes with which brand brass when I get back home
