.338 Lapua Hornady Brass

Hi . Has / is anyone using the Hornady brass for 338 Lapua ? If so , are these cases OK .

Crap brass Lapua or Norma once fired can be had fairly cheap! PM me I can probably help you locate some

I had a box of Hdy 338LM that I fired through my Savage 110 BA. After initial firing they were very hard to FL size, but I did. After the second firing, they seemed even harder to FL size, almost jamming on a couple. After that, I pulled them and made a nice little pile of Hdy brass that'll be given away. I have ~500 Lapua cases that run like silk thru my FL sizing die every time.

Agreed, you can feel the difference when sizing it compared to Lapua, I won't be reloading what I have either.

It works just fine in my rifle. Bought a couple boxes of the stuff a few years ago and decided to try it first in my rifle. Works fine so I have never opened my box of Lapua brass. I'm on 3rd loading of the brass and have no complaints really.

If anyone wants to send me or drop off their brass here, I'd gladly rework it for my rifle.

used hornady brass also with good results..i have lapua,but im saving it....for what I don't know..

I've had good luck with Lapua brass and now I'm trying once fired S&B. They resized nice and had minimal to trim so I guess we'll see
