338

I believe you have a good load, my best load of many i have tried is 78gr of H4831 for 2950fps with a 225gr partition, note my barrel is a douglas and the throat has been opened up so my bullets are seated farther out than factory so Max could be 4gr of powder less. This load is exstreamly accurate worth trying H4831 if you have it, also a great powder for the 250gr.

Good recipes guys. I recently acquired a 338, and look forward to trying them. I made up a whack of loads with 225 Hornady SST's and IB's using H4831 and H4350 (I like the temperature stable 'H' powders). Once it warms up a bit I'll try them out
