338 Marlin Express?

It's just been introduced, so the inventory in it for rifles and ammo is likely quite low. It is also unlikely you will find one in Canada quite yet, as they probably have not made it over the border yet.

I'd be prepared to wait a few months to a year or so to see one.

There is a review in the Guns & Ammo new issue. Look good , but will be in Canada when ?? That is the question.
200 gr Flex-Tip Hornady
velocity muzzle 2,565 fps
Energy: 2,921 lb/ft

Sight in + 3 inch at 100 yards , drop of only -7,8 inches at 300.

The ones you are seeing are all just early production in the the hands of the testers/writers.
Nbody in the US has them stocked yet.
We have a couple on order and will have them here about as soon a anybody in the US has them. :)

This cartridge has me really stoked !

Perhaps the best thing to come along for the Tube fed LeverBoys since the 30-30 !

Maybe some good FP 338 bullets will follow.......

I for one cannot wait !

Big writeup, and on the cover, of latest "Rifleshooter" mag too. Looks neat. Only one load for it so far it looks like, a 200 grain FlexTip, packing 1760 ft/lbs @ 300 yards. A .338 Fed for levers?

Hornady should bring back the 200 grain flatnose, it was for the 33 Winchester and should be a winner in the Marlin.
