Anyone loading for the 338rpm?
I recently got a backcountry 2.0 ti with the 18” barrel
I was going to shoot hammer hunter 175gr but they are no longer exporting them, you have to go threw a distributor that charges a 27% tariff fee. So a expensive bullet is now way to expensive
I loaded up a few 200gr speer’s to get her shooting.
But now I am at a impasse on what to load.
Thought about cutting edge esp raptors in 175gr.
Going to hunt everything from deer, sheep, moose and elk with her.

185 TTSX is what I would do, if it didn't like that I would try 185 Cx from Hornady. 3rd choice probably 200gr Accubonds

Viht N550, StaBALL 6.5 and Varget is where I'd start with for powders

Good day fellow gunnutz. Havent posted in forums really and this thread seemed relevant.

I am looking to re-barrel my backpack rifle to 338 weatherby rpm.
Looking to go 19-20” barrel, i can load 3.61” to 3.75” oal ( depending on which mag i use)

What kinda velocities is anyone getting with 225grs up to 300gr?

Also looking to get hands on a couple projectiles of various weights to make dummy rounds for custom throat dimensions. Prefer a 300gr berger and maybe something in 225gr class to compare .

Thanks
