is there any difference in bore size of a .338 win mag or .338 laupa ?
Wondering how good these would be on Grizzly? On the coastal section of BC?
what is Mystic player web site ?? Cant seem to find it on google...
thanks

I haven't used the all copper Lapuas. I have used the 300 grain Scenars, 300 and 250 grain SMKs but only on paper. Friends that have hunted with Lapuas and Sierras prefer the Sierras. I wouldn't use either for grizzly, but I have never hunted grizzly. There is no difference between the bore size of .338 Win,.338 Lapua , .340 Weatherby etc. Mystic Player is a member here, PM him.
Chances are that if you are looking for a bear bullet, these Match bullets are not what you want.

Don't use match bullets for grizzly. Check out Lapua Naturalis for near 100% weight retention and expansion reliability. They are lighter, but more effecient.

the guys over at sierra advised me NOT to use 300 grainers in my browning as it only has a 1/12 twist- 275's were alright

300 grain is too heavy to work well in a .338WM. They are designed for the Lapua and Weatherby among a few others IIRC. A premium 225\250grain bullet will put a massive hurt on anything that wants to kill you anyway.

Thanks everyone for you input.
Great insight....I have learned its hard to find good bullets for cheap.
No great deals online to be had. You have to pay for good quality bullets.
I have decided to go with 250 Gn Nosler Partition for my grizzly hunt this spring.
