Would it be safe to say that all 3 will work wonders... but the noslers would be more horsepower in energy transfered initially to the target, creating more knockdown power/bang-flop effect? And more expansion at longer ranges? Also Noslers would have less copper fouling than the Barnes yes?

Should be more bullet weight retention with an Accubond, front half of Partitions tend to disintegrate at high impact speed. A few reports here of poor performance with X bullets in 338 and smaller calibers at not so slow impact speeds.

Regarding non-expanded X bullets - https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1465161-Woodleigh-weldcores/page6

Bear Claw bullets have an interesting design -

"The world-famous Trophy Bonded® Bear Claw from Federal Premium® is a deadly-reliable bullet for large, heavy game. Its bonded jacket and core retain more than 95 percent of the bullet’s weight for deep penetration. Bonding also ensures the bullet holds together and dumps a maximum amount of energy on impact..."

Not quite the same, but my 338/06 has had phenomenal performance out of 225 grain partitions on deer and moose. I've shot the accubonds, but have not hunted with them as the partition is such a proven performer. Deer have been bang flop out 350 or so meters, moose have always took a second or 2 to realize they are dead except for neck shots.
The fouling has been minimal, to say the least, but we are also talking 2700ish fps.
A friend of mine shoots Barnes TSX from his 338WM, and gets good velocity, accuracy and performance as well, and I can't say I've heard him complain about fouling. That being said he cleans his rifles religiously after any shooting session, regardless of round count.
Another friend had poor performance from his 338/06 with Barnes TSX. Poor expansion on an elk, but I'm guessing it was really shedding velocity by impact. Never did confirm the distance of said scenario.
I'd say partitions all the way hahahaha

The 300gr Accubond at about 2500 fps MV would be my choice. It has a ballistic coefficient of 0.72.

I am not seeing getting close to this with a 338wm for either of these projectiles. Must be a 340 or even a Lapua. Such a long projectile as the 300 would probably steal powder space, not fit a standard chamber, or both for the WM.

Just started load work up on my new Tikka 338wm in both Accubond and Barnes TTSX all in 225gr using H4831sc. Have fired the first set last weekend up to 73gr behind the Accubond. Groups were not bad but ok. Only got speeds up to 72.5gr (2550 fps) because it got too dark for the chrony. I've got the next set loaded and ready to shoot this weekend if the weather cooperates. Next set is more Accubonds up to 73.5grs and then a full Barnes work up and will see how it compares to the Accubonds. I've had lots of great hunting results with Barnes in other calibers and secretly hope it wins this head to head battle.

Keep us updated !

a/b and partions seem to perform about the same as. open well and good penetration even at lower speeds. to me a better all round bullet than monos. I have found the monos to be devastating at high impact speeds.

I have had spectacular results with a 225 grain Accubond in a .338 RUM at over 3100 fps. The only problem I have ever had was the tips getting broken off or deformed in the magazine due to recoil. The Accubond flies as flat as a laser and holds together well at even close range. I recently switched to the Barnes though as they don't seem to get damaged in the magazine.

338 wm Ruger M77 , Incredible small groups with the 225 AB's , ~moa
last bull elk = 70yds =double lung pass through
winter prior cow elk = 248 yds=hit shoulder blade & fragmented..?? still a dead elk just lost some meat
year prior bull elk =85 yds = high shoulder into spine =Dropped
seem to work for me
