Hello, I was wondering if anybody out there has a 340 3030 and can tell me how the spring for the receiver mounted ejector is situated. My 340 doesn't eject and upon disassembly I could see the spring is all bent up. What I need to know is what a good one looks like installed. I can't figure out how the spring should sit to put pressure on the ejector and launch the old cases. Any info or site that shows the spring set up would be great. Much appreciated. Pete

I am not very good at explaining things, but until someone else can help I will try. The spring is held in place by the stock. You need to position it so that there is tension on the ejector to push it out. I hope that helps. If you still have trouble I will get my wife to post a pic of it. I am not very good with computers.
Thanks snowshoe. Well maybe mine isn't bent then. That seems to make sense. When I took the rifle apart, I could see that contact on the stock would be the only place where the spring would actually do something. Pics would be great. Thanks again. Pete
