Good Morning
I was wondering if anyone had a pet load for the 340 Weatherby Magnum.
I would like to use 225 gr bullets, For hunting I will try Barnes TSX
Any help would be great.
Thanks Reb

81 grains of RL-19 pushing a 225 grain Nosler Accubond. Haven't really strected it out past my 60 yard range but they seem to shoot good out of my Mk V. Recovered some bullets out of my wooden back stop and they seemed to hold together well. That's all I got, cheers!

Reb My Mk V likes the 225 TTSX and RL 22. Max load is around 87 grs. Suggest starting around 83 grs. H4831 also groups very well but is not quite as fast as RL22. Max load will be a gr or so less than RL22. I have also found that 210 gr TTSX also is a very good bullet. It shoots through anything I've shot with it (elk and moose). With the 210 RL22 and H4831 are both good. Max loads will be about 2grs more than with the 225 bullet. Hope that helps
