340wby data plz

Interested in knowing if anyone has worked up a load with H-1000 for a 340wby. Thanks for looking.

I have...I never got great velocity.
H-1000 is a little bit too slow for the 340Wby.

IMR-7828, RL-22, and H-4831 are your best bets.

Best powder with mine is AA3100 and 88g and a hornady 250g bullet for a velocity of 2950 with a sako 24" barrel. Also use nosler partitions of 250 g with the same powder load but have not chrono them. I have gone as high as 91g but the velecity wasn't much better than 88g.

RL22 and 25 worked best in mine, 2940 with 250 gr NP bullets. I can't remember the charge weight offhand, and am not home to check. - dan

IMR 4831 was my favorite for the 340 , 3100 with 225s and 2900+ with 250s.

rl-19 with 210 gr. barnes ttsx gave me good results last year

Thanks for the info. I was thinking H-1000 might be a better combo with 250's but have not seen any published data. I'll stick to H4831sc.
