Well I finally have a 348 Win coming my way. I've been longing for one for years and finally decided enough is enough. It is a browning repro in a the rifle configuration. In all reality, there's a small chance of me hunting with it, although a greater chance than any of my other rifles for big game. I just don't hunt with rifles since falling in love with stickbows and hunting with them. Because I'm just such a gunnut I always find myself swapping things in the gunroom out for the perfect group of rifles to cover all the bases but they just never ACTUALLY get used, besides varmint rifles. Now that I think I've found my identity (LOL) I think a 348 fits my needs just perfect of iron site plinking at steel on my home quarter and using as a back up on northern hunts for bears and last day possible tag filler type situation.
Having said all that, I know there is a lot of info on the 348 on the web, and I think I've exhausted all those resources, now I would like to hear from the CGN community on the 348 win, where you're getting your components this side of the border (hard to obviously in canada), what you're shooting out of it, and if you've hunted with it, what has worked well for you. I am leaning towards loading Swift 200 gr A-frames.
