I am buying a Vortex Venom with 56mm objective, 34mm tube size.
I found 34mm rings are extremely rare and expensive comparing to 30mm ones.
Can anyone please point me to a place that have lots of different type of 34mm rings with reasonable prices (not those $500 ones), and recommend if medium height is good enough for a 56mm scope?
I have a 50mm bushnell scope and I use low height rings. I like to keep the scope as possible as close to the barrel.

I second the mdt rings. Best bang for the buck! I noticed cabelas is now stocking mdt. Can’t get any easier than that to fit the right ones.
Pretty easy to measure for a scope. Nobody can recommend low, medium or high without actual dimensions. Every manufacturer is different.

You didn't mention if this is for a chassis rifle?

Recommend MDT Elite. Made here and great product support.

Call or email them. They'll help you out.

I am using the medium height with a 56 MM Objective on my chassis rifle.

it's for a chassis rifle. I went to mdttac.com, but it restricted the shipping address to US. I thought it was a Canadian company located in BC?

We manufacture several heights of 34mm rings that are $220.00 so well under many others in cost. These are likely some of the highest quality rings available. And we ship anywhere in Canada.

I have Talley rings and bases on a couple rifles
and pic rail with Talley rings on another .
Med. height with 50 mm and high with 56 mm
Bases are $46 and rings are $139 for
Cooper Varminter at Prophet River.

NB - some don't care for the alley , I'm well
versed and like them .

Required ring height depends a lot on individual rifles, rails, and scope. I’ve had to buy different height rings for identical scopes on different rifles. Best to mock up with the actual rifle/rail/scope and measure required height. Also, low/med/high/x-high are not standard measurements.

Everyone is different, but for a chassis gun that has an adjustable cheek rest I prefer high or extra high rings. Keeps my head more upright and relaxed, and it's noticeably more comfortable to shoot.
As for rings, I've had good luck with MDT elites. Don't own any ATRS rings, but everything else they make is excellent so you can't go wrong there.

I have 3 sets of ATRS Rings. I have also used Badger, Nightforce, Near Mfg and prefer the ATRS rings. Fit and finish is exceptional and I prefer the 2 larger scope cap screws vs the 4 on the others I mentioned. Also a Canadian company. The maple leaf on the top is also a nice touch.

Some of the MDT have a built in bubble thats a nice feature but I think only in medium and higher. ATR make very nice products and from this side of the pond as mentioned. Either will serve you well
