Howdy all,
I'm just getting into reloading for 35Rem but am having a heck of a time finding projectiles. Takes a 200gr or thereabouts .358
Lots of cheap .357 out there but all meant for pistol loads. I'm afraid this big game load would destroy the smaller softer .357s. Anyone know where a guy could find the right projectiles?
Cheers!

Hornsby makes a 200 gr round nose in.358
And Speer makes a 220 gr flat point that worked really well in my old Marlin 336

Speer also makes a 180 gr Hot Cor bullet that may be more like what you are looking for.
X-Reload has them (where I got mine on-line).
Sorry, haven't loaded any yet. So can't say what load to try or how they work on bears or deer.
But I have been using their 220 gr bullet for years in my BLR 358 Win and it has worked great on moose, elk and bears.

Thanks Freddyfour! He had a bunch of options available at good prices. I ordered 400 of his 3515 HORNADY 200 GR RN INTERLOCK at $45 per 100
Cheers!
Matt

look my friend 357 bullet shoot well whit the right charge of powder cause I shoot them in my 35 whelen more powerfull then the 35 rem , accurate even at 200 yard , try h4895 or imr 4895 or w760, have fun

I always found the 220 Speer to be very accurate in my marlin 35 Rem rifles.

And, it is death on wheels on moose and bear.

Amazing how that seems to happen when a bullet is specifically designed for a particular cartridge. ;)
