35 Remington reamer

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know of a gunsmith that is in possession of a 35 Remington reamer?

This conversation started around the stove at the deer camp and got me thinking that would make a cool little deer rifle. I have another project in the works that needs to be done first. That will give me time to find one of the 1st gen Model Sevens.

Nice rifle .... What I had in mind may not happen in the foreseeable future. For now it's just a thought.

you can go vanilla and get a 358 winchester, or you can be a cool kid with a .35 remington.......from 900 FPS-2100 FPS it's far more versatile and has the cool factor, lots of guys come up and look at it and the firs thing they say it......never heard of .35 remington........but they never forget it

Necro thread revival ...... That 35 Remington project is still swirling around the bat house.

Some say a std 700 bolt face will work. Anyone try it?

There's only .013 difference between the diameter of a standard cartridge face and the 35 Remington case, unless you have a worn extractor all will be well.

It was hit and miss with my Savage. I had to get a custom bolt head.
