A fellow from the Aushunting forum had some spare rings, worked out a price plus post and wollaahh... my Whelen is back on track from out the back of the Safe...
i like this one, but its Heavy... esp with the Zeiss scope (few grams hvy on avg)
Got the Satin stainless Rings off him, Suits the Hawkeyes satin Bolt and trigger i rekons
Inteded for the Walk em up , Stalking style, il get a sling for it and sight in with the 250gr hornady SP Varget combo-
Does anyone know what the go is with these Rugers now that they are not factory any more? its a complete factory apart from stock, thats sitting here with a split between the trigger area.. are they worth 'more' because of this or not just yet?
