My book shows 2.494 so I'd say 2.484 would be your "minimum trim to" length.
My book shows the same - 2.494 case length - so +/- 0.010" either way from there sound like realistic limits. As long as the case length is "close" (usualy +/- 0.005" for my liking), I pay more attention to OAL than COAL, which will vary from gun to gun depending on where you want to seat things in relation to the lands.
Yeah, i just got a case length gauge thingy, an its set for 2.494, which i have written down as a MAX length, and i have 2.474 as a Trim length..... Which to me is a stuff up.
Im trying to research the internet but i know alot of switched on blokes here can answer this straight away.
I am currently resizing brass to 2.483-2.485.
After this i will open that up a bit more to around 2.490
Is there going to be a Accuracy issue from cases of 2.484 compared to a case of 2.494??
