i posted a wanted ad for one of these recently. it seems the 673 remington 350 is the most powerful gun i can fire without reactivating an old shoulder injury. has anyone seen one of these around? had one many years ago and liked it quite a lot. bought a 9.3 figuring it was similar but it seems my shoulder does not like it. if anyone knows someone who wants to part with one please let me know. another question i have is: is ammo available anywhere in canada for this caliber anymore? or handloading only?

thank you

If you can't handle the 9.3x62, you can't handle the .350 Rem Mag either, with same weight bullets... best drop down to the .308/.30-06 class.

I am a fan of the .350 RM cartridge but not the 600 series rifles... I have mine in a pair of Ruger M77 Mark II's... but the M700 Classic is a nice rifle too... as is the M7 KS.

used to own a 673 and it was fine in 350 for me. stock design maybe was better for me no idea but i found it decent even from the bench

This ^ I've owned both , in rifles that weigh the same and have similar configurations . It might just be me , but I can't tell the difference between them in regards to recoil . I currently have a 358W built on a Mauser action . It's my third ( I gave the other two to family members who couldn't live without one lol ) The 358 doesn't give up much to the 350 or 9.3 , and it makes for a far more user friendly , and controllable , rifle . It doesn't hurt that the 358 is a very reliable killer on larger game .

I’ve considered 358 actually. I like a rifle with irons, any bolts come that way? Blr is on top of the list but I wonder being a lb lighter [6.5lb]if it’s about the same recoil as a 7.5 lb 350?
