350TSX Rigby Loads

Im loading this bullet in a friends custom 700 416 Rem

huge bullets, have to use a faster burning powder to get compression down, or else the case gets warped enough it wont chamber!

I here ya Tod, I'm shooting 108 grs of 7828 and its compressed. With normal bullets it'll hold close to 120 grs. What speeds are you getting. Is Rel 15 too slow for the Rem.?

havent chrony'd it

RL15/Varget work great in the 416 Rem, but I found (the hard way) that they have too high of a load density when teamed with the huge TSX, and I was having some loading problems with that much compression. 4895 seems to of solved it, and will test the loads in the coming weeks. :)

Rel 15 is normally THE powder for .416 Rems but the TSX is so long it drastically cut your powder room. I'm going to fiddle with some other powders in the Rigby too. The 7828 load was the first thing I fired in my gun and the first 3 rounds at 100yds went 1". It continues to shoot under 1 1/4" for three. These new CZs are great guns.
