356 win

While I've never owned either one - I like the 356 and the 375. Although I've shot the 307. I was looking into that 356 caliber and seen that Winchester most often produced them with the 20 inch barrel and may have produced them with a 24 inch barrel. If I was to get one, I would likely prefer the longer barrel.

I've seen pics for the Winchester 94AE in 7-30 Waters with a 24 inch barrel. Sorry I could not paste it here.

I’m not sure the 307 was made in a 24” barrel. I’ve never seen one. Mine is 20” as are my 356/375 and 7-30 carbine. I do have the rifle in 7-30 with the 24” barrel.

I have a 356 Win in the Winchester 94AE model. Mine has no cross bolt safety or Monte Carlo stock. Just classic lines. She is a beauty! As with most .358 cal rifles it is a pleasure to reload for. Over the past year I have found close to 200 pieces of new 356 Win brass and now that Hornady is making 307 Win brass (and I'm sure 356 will be next) there is really no concern about brass. I also have a BLR 358 stainless, laminate take-down set up in a scout configuration and love it. It gets use much more often as I can load to higher pressure and with the full range of projectiles. That being said, I don't regret picking up my 356 as these are pretty classic rifles.
