3 weeks ago I could find once fired .357 brass everywhere, now that have a .357 revolver I can find NO once fired brass. Anyone have any ideas on where I could look?
Thanks
Oh anyone in the calgary area want to mentor a noob reloader?
Alot of people do end of year clean out's of stuff they're not using anymore. That probably explains the glut you saw recently.
Otherwise 38 and 357 aren't as common as what they used to be. In general grab it when you see it. WTB on EE works well to and keep your eyes open at local gun shows. You can find bargains if you get there early.
I couldn't find any either in the ranges that I frequent. I bit the bullet (no pun intended) and I just bought 500 fired brass from Western metal ($56.99/250). With shipping to Ontario it works about to .30 cents per brass. The other components were local so per hand loaded round on a .357, it will cost me about 0.48-.50 cents. Brass is the most expensive component
The good thing is that you won't loose the casings on revolvers
