.357 lever action

Im looking into getting a Lever action in .357 mag. What are my options, and what would you recommend? I have no experience with lever action rifles, so i seek some advice.

The two most popular and proven .357's are the Marlin 1894 and the Rossi Puma Model 92. The Marlin is a side eject model and can be fitted with a scope, but is heavier and bulkier. The Rossi is trim and slim but limited to iron sights or, as I have modified mine - a rear aperture sight. Just a matter of personal preference.
