Just got wind that Hornady is to produce a special run of 358 Winchester ammo loaded with the 200gr Interlock soft point. Estimated delivery of August. Component brass will also be available

You 358 shooters who are interested should contact your local gun shop and have them order you some in

The Gun Dealer in NB still had a new Ruger Frontier in that caliber for the longest time. I would have bought it except for the scarcity of the Ammo.
 
I make my brass, neck up .308 it lasts at least 8 loadings, and is more consistant than winchester factory .358
 
I thought there would be more interest in this announcement, I guess the 358 truly is a washed up cartridge, now that the 338 Federal has hit the market

I assume most who shoot this cartridge have already stocked up on brass like me. Also I shoot the 225gr Partition, WAY better than the stubby 200gr.
Both the 338 Fed and the 358 Win are so close to each other its just a pissing match into the wind as to which is better. I like the 358 :D Just sayin'............

They also haven't chambered the 338 in the BLR so........

I have 150pcs new WW 358 brass here. I don't think I'll be buying new ammo any time soon. I'm thinkin' most 358 shooters would be handloaders anyways.
