35whelen 50yard sight in

Howdy, just a quick question, i havnt got any ballistics charts on any programs i have indicating where the POI would be at 50yards for the whelen.

having knocked my rifle i made up some rounds to re sight an im goin to try do it at 50yards.

My question is where should i have the bullet hitting at 50 to make it around spot on at 150?
hopin some of the more experienced whelen users can point me in the right direction, i normally sight in at 100 an have it roughly 1-1.5inch high an seein as my longest shots are around 200 i thought id give it a go at 50 for a 150 zero (roughly)

About 1/2" high at 50 will put you on target at 150. According your scope is mounted 1.5" over line of bore.

Another fairly simple method is to be dead on at 25 yards. Of course it would be ideal to know if you are using a scope, your muzzle velocity and bullet shape/weight. Nevertheless the dead on at 25 should put you in the ballpark.

I sight mine in to be 3/4" high at 50 yds. That gives a MPBR of about 225 yds.
