Hi there, not sure if this is normal - I haven't bought enough ammo consistently over the years to see any trend.
Last month I bought a case of the Federal Syntech range ammo in 9mm 124gr. In the end, it averaged out to $18.99 for a box of 50.
I just checked this morning and the list price for a box of this is now $25.99. A 36.8% increase in a month. The rest of the various 9mm ammo that I am looking at doesn't seem to be affected by any noticeable price increase in the past month.
I love this ammo and how clean it shoots. Wished I had picked up an additional case or so.
I know there is an ammo shortage in the US, and many places have this ammo sold out, so maybe it's just a supply/demand thing.
