Hey there,

I'm just wondering if I can get a few opinions on bullet selection for my 375 Taylor.

My standard load will be a 300 gr bullet @ 2450ish fps. Yes, I can certainly go faster, but I'm happier with less recoil.

That being said, I need something that will hold together at very close ranges (the rifle will be used as my guiding rifle), as well as work out to 200m or so. Can anyone recommend a bullet for this? I've always used regular hornady interlocks in my other rifles, and they have worked well, but I can't seem to find any info on if the hornadys come apart on the high velocity close-range shots.

Thanks very much -Cameron

You sure don't _need_ a TSX at those velocities; I'd suggest the 300 grain partition. Nice explosive 'shocking' power at close range, but the base is going to hold together for deep penetration on anything in NA. Plenty accurate in my rifle too.
