I have picked up two boxes of Barnes Tripple Shock for the new toy. I grabbed a box of 270g and 300g. Anyone out there have a preffered load for either of these that you might like to share ;) :D

I have gone through all of my manuals but would like to hear what you guys and gals use and what you have had luck with.

Thanks!

The TSX isn't exactly a traditional choice for the 375. It's not moving all that fast to begin with, and weight retention isn't normally much of a problem at 375 speeds.

68 grains of 4064 with a 300 is an old standby load and is good with the TSX since the TSX takes up so much powder space.

75 gr of RL15 and a 270 is another good load for 2700+ fps

I always used 78 grains of WW760/H414/AA2700 with a 300 grain NP for around 2600 fps, but would probably not fit under a TSX unless you are loading in a 602/550

Crazy davey,
I used IMR 4350, W760, H414 and a bunch of Military surplus that claimed to be H414 with 270 TSXes for 2650 fps. That same powders worked fine for 300 Hornady roundnose bullets that I use for practice as well. The new solids seem to shoot about as well, but I backed off two grains to make the zeros match with the RNSPs. The 270 TSXs and 300 grain solids matched POIs with 78 grains of W760/H414 in both bullet weights. RL15 is showing a lot of potential with the 270 TSXs as far as accuracy goes. The weather will have to improve alot before I start dragging a chronograph out to the range. Shooting is fine, and it doesn't take long for barrels to cool!
I haven't used the 300 gr TSX yet, but have a couple boxes to try. Most of my recent load developing time has been spent on the .416 Rigby, but I'll probably get around to it soon. 400 grainers in the Rigby seem to make them redundant.

Thanks guys! Always nice to hear some personal experiance. I have lots of powders to try, just nice to find a decent starting point from someone who has allready tried a few.

Thanks again :D
