375 H+H First trip to Africa

I will be going to Africa for the first time in May.I have Cape Buff. and some plains game (Kudo etc.)
I have taken an Alaskan Brownie with a 300gr Branes TS 68.5 grs of reloader 15 and mag. primer.I am wondering if anyone has used a load like this on Buff. or in Africa.
Any other load data would be great.

I used both the 270 and 300 grain TSXs in Africa. Never killed a buffalo with that exact load, but it isn't going to bounce off anything. Killed a giraffe with the 300, they are two or three times the size of a buff.

Africa

I used the H+H last year with 270 TSX and RL 15 took 2 Hippos a crock and a leopard excellent performance and accuracy. The 300 TSX wil work perfectly for anything up to buff and hippo that you want to kill, all you have to do is you part.

I suggest you check with your PH. Some of them have pretty strong views on bullets, to the point where they may even refuse to let you use a certain bullet, esp. for DG.
