375 JDJ or 375X444 Reamer ???

Just bought a T/C Contender carbine in 375 Win.

Is there anyone in Canada that has the 375 JDJ or 375X444 reamer and could rechamber a T/C Contender carbine barrel from 375 Win to 375 JDJ or 375X444 (this is the same reamer just named differently).

Basically the 375 Win is a 30-30 case and the 375 JDJ is the way stronger/larger/longer 444 Marlin case.

Hornady data shows results are app 250fps faster with the same pressures using 220gr bullets out of 14" barrels...

I'm thinking once rechambered this 5lbs rifle cartridge combo would be an awesome all round package for anything in North America out to 300 yards...

I'm using 270 gr Hornady bullets in a 14 inch Contender and getting just under 2000FPS. Love it.
How far are you from the US border? If it was me I would get a temporay import permit(free) drive it to the US and ship it to SSK Industries or Mike Belm. I 've heard nothing but good things from both.

That would work, but by the time you do all that you could buy the reamer and have it done here.

I'm 10 minutes from the border and have spoken with both Mike Bellm and JD Jones.

I would personally prefer not to cross the border with the barrel if I can help it just too much hassle right now with everything else I am up too.

I even have a mail box on the US side so can have them return ship it too me.

The main thing with dealing with either JD or MB is that they have worked on hundreds/thousands of different T/C barrels so they would definately not screw up the job...

I have this reamer, and can do it. It is a nice ctg in rifle too. 2475 fps with 250 gr.
