375 Ruger Brass is unattainable

I admit I'm not a Rocket Surgeon. I am not the smartest guy in the world. Now, I did take an IQ test recently and I got 146, so apparently I am "a wee bit above average" in intelligence.

But even the dumbest POS in existence could do what I have done to obtain brass!:)

I do admit I paid $10-20 extra per 50, compared to the 375 H&H, but brass life should be longer, anyway, and that sum is peanuts, really...:)

So how come I keep hearing about how 375 Ruger brass is $$$ and unable to get?

I walked into a hardware store this week in backwoods NB and bought WW 338 brass off the shelf. Didn't see any 375Ruger, so it looks like you'se fellers have it all out west.

P&D had some last time I was in there......I think it was $59 for 50 pcs..not bad at all...after all how many do you need for a bige bore like that?

don't quote me on the price...maybe it was $90..

How much is it Gate?

Looking at Gates photo...at that price, about two grands worth.

How much .375 H&H brass was on that shelf? I read on here all the time, guys trying to buy it and can't find it, and then there's an alert posted when someone finds a few bags of it.

I have bought 375 Ruger brass from $45 to $61 per 50.

Russels lists H&H for $40 per 50 (Remington brass)
 
I remember when the 300 WSM came out. People here were advising anyone that bought one to "stock up on brass, this cartridge isn't going to be around for long"

I recently posted a thread in the "reloading" forum indicating that Russel's had 5 boxes in stock. Did you buy it all Gatehouse? ;)
Yup, it's not rocket science, I stocked up on 300 rounds of .375 H&H from 3 different sources, none of which were retail outlets.

None from Russels. Hopefully it akes some other owner of the New King happy:)

None there....... No one shoots a 375 here in NB let alone heard of a 375H&H or 375 Ruger.

We don't get big, mean bears here and moose can be killed with anything from a 30/30 up, so there's not much need for a big bore.
