I had a look at this on the Hornady website. Does anyone have one of these yet and are there any valid opinions? It looks pretty interesting, it will be neat to see what rifles it is offered.

It certainly looks impressive. The quoted velocity is higher than what is available in factory .375 H&H cartridges, yet the round fits into a standard length action. This will result in a shorter trimmer rifle, but I am sure it would be more pleasant to shoot if it was loaded to or slightly below .375 H&H levels. If they can keep the cost of brass down it is sure to be a big seller.

Essentially a Dakota clone... 375 H+H performance in a beltless case (perfect for shorter "long" actions such as the Ruger long action).

I am going to have one built once brass becomes readily available. I'll use a Rem 700 Stainless action, McMillan Swirly Mtn Rifle stock, and top it off with a VXII 2-7x33 in Talley rings... should weigh @ 8.5lbs all up.

Not sure why I need one yet, but....

While the new generation of short mags, Wizzums and Rums haven't interested me in the slightest, this new .375 has my attention.

The only concern I have is that there may be some pressure issues. The numbers look a bit too good, given the available case capacity. If they can do what they claim while staying somewhere south of 60,000 psi, I'd be delighted.
