375 Win reloading

Just picked up one in a Marlin, again, the 5th one I've owned if you count the one I owned twice, all Marlins.

Has anyone seen data for Leverevolution powder in the 375 Winchester?

Seems to me it should work.

IIRC the last time I owned one of these I used H335 and/or H322.
I have the usual H4198 and H4895 which are used a lot in this case but I'd like to use the Leverevolution if possible.

I searched the internet for any 375 Winchester reloading data using LeverEvolution powder, I found absolutely squat........

Not sure if that means anything though?.............

It could mean the 375 Winchester isn't as popular as some other calibers. A crying shame, I like the 375 Winchester, and will be inheriting one soon from a real nice old fellow. I offered to buy it, however he has decided just to leave it to me.

I do have other powders that will work, but not much of it.
I have a couple lbs of Leverevolution I bought for a Marlin 35 Rem project that got tossed.
I see the LR powder sits next to CFE223 on the powder burn rate chart. Could probably start with that data.

That's what I would do Rick. Just start low and work up. I have some of those Barnes originals still for my 38-55 Savage 99. Good bullets. - dan

SAAMI loaded length is 2.560, assuming the cannelure ends up in the right place. Barrel is 20"

Quickload is showing Lever to be too slow. 32 grains yielding 1452fps given the data provided.

reloader 7 is the tits they say.
4198 for jacketed.
i use 4895 for cast
others have used varget

ive only used 4198 an now onto the 4895.... posted a video in the hunting forum of a hunt with my 375 win

The two powders I use are. IMR 4198 for jackets and Alliant 2400 for lead. The same powders used for the 38-55 are used with the 375 Winchester, your just using more powder. 38-55 loads are below mid range 375 loads so loads could be worked up using 38-55 data.
