I just acquired a 375 Winchester bigbore model 94 XTR which should go nicely with my 375 ruger. Should be fun to shoot and hunt with. Deer, black bear and maybe the odd two point moose that walks within range.. Ive got three box's of 200gr Win. power points to use up and then I can start reloading. I guess that means i'll have to researchhow many round nose 375 bullets remain out there and pick one.
To me any of the above out to 100yards are going to be dinner the next day.
(maybe this will be my other halfs hunting gun)
Here are some pics.

Nice rifle it's in better shape than mine, I bought one a couple of years ago off CGN and have been shooting RCBS 250 gr cast gas checked bullets out of it, they are accurate and fairly cheap to shoot. I put a Williams receiver rear and Williams Firesight front sight on it, most people who have tried it don't have a problem hitting the 100 yard gong fairly regularly offhand at our range. The jacketed bullets designed for the 375 Win are all flatpoints, 200, 220 and 250gr are all that is commercially available.

Bigbore not even if that was you in your avatar and you showed me.lol.

Thanks silverback Rembo...

Silverback I dont cast any bullets but im curious can a person buy them cast?

something else ive seen on the net some of these rifles going for six seven hundred dollars and a few over a thousand. Whats with that?

There are not too many places that sell cast rifle bullets but the Bullet Barn does, they have a 265gr gas checked bullet probably for the H&H but that might work, they also have a 245gr plain base bullet sized to .379 which is probably too big for the 375 win as it was made for the 38-55 which usually has a bigger bore. They say custom sizing is available on request so I would get the 245's sized to .376 and they should work fine. According the the web site the price is per 200 so that isn't too bad compared to jacketed bullets, 100 Hornady 220 gr FP 375's are $41.99 on the Wholesale web site.
I would let you try some of mine but I loaded all of them and it has been too cold in my garage to cast lately, ok for the last 5 months it has been too cold to cast.
My rifle has a fair bit of honest hunting wear from being carried but I only paid $425.00 for it which I think was fair, I have seen them listed around $700 as well but I haven't noticed them selling either.

38-55 RNFP DLG BB 245 gr. .379 L $41.00
375 cal FP GC TLG 265 gr. .376 L $55.00

I have a 375 win and 358 win in savage 99's. I don't shoot them so I cannot comment on bullets etc. Keep them for my viewing pleasure. I have enough other shooters that these can stay in the safe.
