Hey fellows how are we?
Look, i havnt got "doubt" on the .375win for a big deer round in at 100Meters an pushing it to 150 if it had to be done.
Ive been doing alot of reading to see what everyone else has found with their 375win rifle, as far as loads an actual hunting goes, and kind of skipping past the accuracy claims..
Aswell as 38-55 info for the same reason, You see my 375w loads are fairly low, i guess around 3-400fps slower than what could be done, with 8-10gr more powder which would be a MAX load, for ADI2207(rl-7eq) behind a 220 hornady.
What would you suggest I do? i have 30 rounds of 28gr loadings, and after these do i pump a bit more powder into the cases to get more velocity?
I've read an noticed that big slugs tend to work well fairly moderate to slow, especially for a solid penetration!?
Also would this Slug work down at lower velocitys of say 1500fps (100m vel?)
I know the 38-55 has killed for years, years before the .375win came about in BB's, an in black powder days things were slow....
I read the cast bullets are driven slower than jacketed.
Let me know your thoughts,
Cheers
